I'm an A lister but this is my first flight with the twins and I know things are gonna be different. I'm still trying to be highly efficient through security and boarding but who knows how it's actually going to go. My SO isn't an A lister so I think we're just going to wait for family boarding.
Any other tips to make flying more bearable for those around us?
Where to start.......first, I would not wait for family boarding. I would actually pay the $10 for her to join the early boarding crew, personally. The better selection of seats and the more time you have to get situated, the better. I guess the short version is be prepared with anything and everything that seems to help soothe them. Bring extra diapers, change of clothes, wipes, etc.... Especially with young babies (and your first trip) it is better to have too much than not enough.
The biggest thing is just to stay calm and mentally prepare for the worst, while hoping for the best. Hopefully it will be much easier than you hope, but just prepare like it won't be.
