I always wear boots, so have to take them off for security. Handilly this gives a great place to deposit watch/keys/phone
Didn't notice my UK passport was left in the tray though and only found it missing when I tried to pull it out of the pocket in GRU and it wasn't there
Don't they check passports at the gate on IB?
