That is why FT wisdom over the years and not just for AA but other FFPs has stated call in and have the PNRs refreshed for status change as soon as the change occurs. @:-)
All three EXPs who have posted about this problem in the last week called in and requested the PNRs be refreshed. All three were told by the EXP agent they had adjusted the reservation and it now showed EXP.
Either this agent/agents need to be replaced/retrained or passengers will start making 3+ calls to different types of agents for each status change. The first option should be much cheaper for AA than the second.
