Out of curiousity, where are you headed? DL and US have both cut Silver level to 1 bag, and nobody else has E+ (yet). I am anxiously awaiting to see if Silvers start losing the ability to choose Preferred type seats on other carriers.
I'm dropping from 2P to kettle, after 6 straight years of 30-35K since I couldn't do my annual international trip this year (the flooding in BKK). I'll see how things work out after the programs merge but most likely I'll be buying premier travel or buying E+ when a UACO ticket makes sense, and flying other airlines if they are a better buy. Losing the ability to reserve E+ at booking is the main reason.
