If Delta caters extra meals for the FA's, I understand that. However, the flight departed at 10:30am and boarded around 10:00am (boarding was easy with no problems). On longer domestic or transcon flights, I've seen FA's eating. Not an issue.

In addition, the FC service on this flight was below average. There were two FA's working in 1st. I'm guessing one of them was in training. I say that because the head FA was having to tell the second FA what to do at every turn. That's not an issue. I understand everyone is new at some point. However......

- coats weren't taken without FC passengers asking
- nothing offered as PDB unless FC passengers requested (before the assumptions of alcohol as PDB...that was not the case. Passengers wanted coffee & oj).
- headsets weren't brought out unless requested

So, in comparison to my other FC flights this year, I'd give this one a "D". It seemed a chore for the two FC FA's to serve the FC cabin. When I saw the Coach FA taking two meals to the back, my first thought was "I wonder if the pax in the last two FC seats will get a meal?".

Customer service is all about the Customer's perception. My perception is this FC experience was way below my expectations.

You obviously had a bad experience in general in FC this trip but a few notes:

1. It is not "If" Delta carries Crew meals. They, along with every other carrier do I can assure you. Those meals are catered through the FRONT DOOR. Not sure how you think they could get them back to the Y FAs any other way than carrying them. Actually, how could you even say "if" how do you expect them to eat when they are on airplanes all day? They do not have the luxury of booking a long layover to eat. They are typically running to the next gate.

2. If this was a single aisle aircraft then only 1 FA is there for FC.

3. What is an "assumption" of alcohol? Did they put a tray of beer and drinks in front of you? They usually as what you want to drink...I ave never had an FA tell me I had to have alcohol.

4. If in 10 years of flying this is the first time you have seen an FA carry crew meals back then you must have missed it...they have no choice if it is catered in the front only..and most are now.

5. I think they stop asking if you want headsets because most people have their own which are 200 times better than the recycled cheap ones they hand out.

I am sorry you had a bad overall experience but treating professional people like your personal servants is just bad form.
