I will mention that I have long thought that Delta should place a report card in each seat back at the beginning of every flight. It should list all of the services the customer should expect, with a check box for the customer to confirm he received the service. It could also include more general questions/rating opportunities.
After exiting the plane, there should be a locked drop-box near the gate for the customer to deposit the report card.
FA's would be required to use the PA system to remind customers about the report cards during the descent phase.
To me, Delta is running open-loop, more worried about nickel-and-diming PAX than collecting valuable near-real-time feedback about their service.
Added: Obviously, to reduce processing costs, the same functionality should be embedded in the Delta app.
