However, on point c), I would think that among those who have figured out what EMs are, the idea of booking/cancelling the actual ticket is not an "issue" for them....
The savvy ones will figure out that the ticket can easily be refunded once the miles post.
I do think more and more people have caught on to this trick, however I argue that sometimes we (FT'ers) over estimate how many other elites are on top of this stuff.
