Chase can in fact blacklist anyone as they want to. But just to be safe - since it will not harm you to hold the card (as you will get your lounge passes later anyway), keep until the time that Chase charge you for the annual fee.
Wait, I have to keep the card for more than 11 months? I got the Explorer card with the 50K miles and first year free, but I really don't need the card and would prefer to cancel it before they charge me for the second year. Is there a problem if I wait til just before a year is up and then cancel?
