I have to ask this as it has been bugging me!

On the 5th of November (roughly 3 months before travel), I booked 2 returns ORY - NRT - CDG (via LHR) in CE and CW for the 3rd of February 2012, returning on the 25th of February for a total price of 5431 € (on ba.com).

If I check out ba.com today (6 weeks before travel) on the same dates, the fare comes out at 5334 € for 2.

Yes I know, its a stupid idea but wanted to check if the MMB upgrade price and the website upgrade price are the same, and it turns out that they are the same (roughly 6000 € for 2 one way!).

Any ideas why this happens? I know its not a big price drop but still, Im just curious to know why.

And would anybody know if an Narita airport upgrade to First for cash could be available?
