Lloyds were the 'boring' bank until they expanded and took over HBOS.

As for statements I have a bank account with them. I went paperless and that was fine for me. Because of my work I needed a statement to show my address etc. So I elected to have a paper statement. Its okay online banking fixes this. NO I have only had the year statement. I am not calling so I use another account to show my address etc.
