if i plan to stay for a week wednesday to wednesday , 5 nights with points , one paid night and 2nd night BOGO - ambassador. hopefully getting the paid OWB night room for the 7 nights if lucky...
What night do I need to make the paid night @ Thalasso ?
For example
wed , thurs points
fri paid ambassador
sat BOGO
sun,mon,tues points
???

If I pay for an Emerald OWB in theory i should get the Sapphire for 2 nights.. Has anyone ever negotiated and said i would happily keep Emerald even although I am due Sapphire in return for keeping the Emerald for the whole week?

has anyone EVER actually had to stay in the family coral motu family suite ??????????????????????????????
I was told i can upgrade on my points nights to Emerald for 15,000 xpf + 14% . Now under normal circumstanses i would wait till arrival , but
this is easter week in early April ( Is Easter a busy week in Bora Bora??)

"As you are staying on a Reward Night basis, you must be aware that Priority Club terms & conditions states that “When staying on Reward Nights, all Ambassador and Royal Ambassador privileges apply with the exception of upgrades, free Pay TV film per stay, 24 hour guaranteed room availability, 8:00am early check-in and complimentary mini bar beverages.” as you can refer to the Priority Club website

In most cases, we try to upgrade our Reward Nights booking from Motu garden villa to an Emerald Overwater villa. You must be acknowledge that it is only upon availability upon check in and at no time guaranteed.
If you wish to guaranty an upgrade, it will be a paying upgrade.

We would like to let you know that if you want to use your points for staying with us, you will receive the first level of the hotel which is the Motu coral garden suite. Even if you are Royal Platinum member, your benefits (mini bar…) can not be applied with this type of reservation. For having the upgrade, you will have to pay 15000 CFP + 14% per night for the upsell from the Motu coral garden suite to the Emerald Over the water, 25000 CFP + 14% if you want to be upgraded from the Motu to the Sapphire over the water, 35000 CFP from the Motu to the Diamond over the water and 45000 CFP + 14% per night from the Motu to the Otemanu or End of Ponton Diamond villa.
Regards"

just to add to the above i have been approved and am now gold ambassador

going on the website i can use points wed thur fri ,
sat paid , sunday free with certificate.
mon and tuesday i will leave free just now and try and build up more points to use points for monday & tueday.

what is the best strategy here for the paid saturday + free sunday ?
emerald 88,000 xpf
sapphire 100,000 xpf
diamond 107,000 xpf
otemanu 121,000 xpf

should i pay for the highest room possible say a diamond in the hopes it boosts my chances of getting OWB for the 3-5 nights I plan to spend there on points?

or

should i just go emerald so that the jump from motu garden room to emerald is more palatable for the hotel to manage than a jump from motu garden room to diamond ??

I feel the most SENSIBLE idea may be to book Emerald for my 2 night ambassador certificate stay where I would be upgraded to Sapphire. And for the points nights pay 15,000 xpf to guarantee Emerald. That way I would probably end up given a Sapphire OWB for my stay ??
