I hope no one minds if I post a little mini-rant here, I was rather upset.

- Flight 1. Monday December 6. US 3570 RDU-LGA: We push back three minutes late, taxi to the runway then stop. We're told that low ceilings in LGA are now limiting operations (and reminded several times they found this out AFTER we left the gate) and they'll get back to us in 45 minutes. After two hours, they cancel the flight. However, when we return to the gate the agent can't figure out how to attach the jetway. It takes 30 minutes to attach the jetway and then there aren't enough rampers so another 30 minutes to get our bags.

Feelings: Weather happens, no anger towards US there. However, the hour delay meant I missed the 11:15 AM CLT flight. Rebooking was slow and painful and the agent refused to let me out of the jetway to help me until I got my bag so I stood on the lip and said "I was here first, you'll rebook me first but I'll just stand here".

- Flight 2. Sunday December 11. US 2645 IAD-CLT. Inbound plane has a bird strike and we're told it will be a half hour to get it checked out. After 45 minutes, flight canceled. Rebooked on 8 PM flight (this one was scheduled for 4 PM).

- Flight 3. Sunday December 11. US 2623 IAD-CLT. Again, flight canceled, this time due to maintenance. They said they were going to find another aircraft for us, but that one too went tech. Getting rebooked this time is an awful experience. Only two agents working the flight who, despite most people now being stuck overnight, keep shouting "NO MEAL VOUCHERS!" (definitely set the tone). I was headed to RDU and they agreed to give me a taxi voucher to DCA and rebook me DCA-RDU instead of flying the next day.

This was part of a 25,000 mile DM award and of the 4 flights I booked, I took 0. Overall, quite frustrating, I've never had three canceled flights in six days before. Thanks for reading, I do feel better now.
