I saw on TripAdvisor that you're suppose to be able to hike all that way.

When I took the cable car, I did see a winding path beneath the path of the cable car. Seemed like it would be long and grueling.

Not sure the views from the ground would be as good as on the cable car.

The last part of the cable car is descending towards Tung Chung, over a body of water, before taking a right turn towards the terminus of the cable car.

How would you traverse that on foot?
