(Sorry.. didn't see this thread earlier)

We're OK here. I live 4 blocks away and work 3 blocks away from the WTC. I was home getting ready to leave when I heard about the first crash. Later, i witnessed the 2nd crash from the balcony and then was trapped in my apartment as the 2 buildings collapsed, sending ash everywhere. (fortunately, we were able to close the windows in time). We later fled via the Brooklyn Bridge and have been homeless ever since.
Right now, our building is still out of water, gas, and electricity, but we've heard we may be able to get back by Tuesday or Wednesday (Wall St. has higher priority).

Although i didn't presonally know anyone that perished in the WTC, this experience has been very personal. Our neighborhood has been turned into a war zone, and words can't express the sorrow for all the victims of this tragedy.
