Agree. It took almost 2 weeks for a flight I've got in February. As long as the seat is assigned & the class shows right, you should be OK.

I likewise won't quibble. I used one of mine last year on LAX-BOS. At a week out, it was showing F2/A1/Y5, and it was far better to nab the upgrade than be stuck with tight meeting schedule on both ends. Granted, that was one of the "extra" eVips from the promotion, but still was an eVIP.
