In any case, I would NOT recommend contacting your employer about it, even if you ultimately do not get billed. The hotel could bill you at any time and you would end up on the hook.
I would wait a few weeks to two months (some international bills can take that long) but I believe that you are under an obligation to tell your employer if by that time nothing has posted. I think Ajax has the right idea.
