This is tragic news.

Here in Australia everyone is shocked and deeply disturbed at the unfolding events. There is a deep feeling is one of compassion for those affected and for our friends in America. Although we are a small country we stand ready to assist the US in any way possible.

My personal sympathies to all affected.

Although these events are shocking I am reminded of the words (I hope hope I get thsi right) that 'there is nothing so wrong with America that it cannot be cured by what is right with America'.
