Just out of curiosity, was it a Masaba commuter flight? A couple of weeks ago the guy behind me in FC had this same experience. When he stated that it was the first time he'd heard that, the FA went absolutely APE. I mean yelled at him, went to her seat, got her manual, stood over him and ASKED if he wanted to read it or have her READ IT TO HIM!!!!

I mean ALL of us in FC were AMAZED at her attitude. Of course then we all snickered that we really wanted to have a cell phone ring on takeoff to see what her reaction would be
