Flying VS cured me of taking too much hand luggage, I packed for a week within the 6 kg limit! I did hold my handbag with one finger so they wouldnt weigh that as well, I reckon I managed to cram a good few kg in there as well, they didnt notice my finger turning blue with teh weight of the handbag
