I'm beginning to think that Americans have totally lost their manners. A Goodwill employee screamed at me for no legitimate reason while I dropped off a donation on Saturday. Now, the BR concierge has made a rather rude comment to a paying member. The correct response would have been to immediately apologize. Then, the concierge should have examined the food offerings to see if there was anything that could be done. Perhaps they had some extra in the back or something had not been properly replenished.

The concierge should have been empathetic and actually tried to help. However, it seems that nobody cares about anything anymore.
