(Somewhat) similar experience here. Flew 3 *A flights this week. LHR-NCE-LHR on BD where both boarding passes came out (on OLCI as well as paper copies at LHR and NCE) as BDP (I am BD*S). Interestingly on a flight with Lufthansa from LHR-MUC on Friday (for which I checked in at the same desk and with the same person as the NCE flight) the status appeared without any problems.
