Leave the reservations like they are. Just let them know when you check in that you have a separate reservation for the next night. If you booked the exact same type rooms for both nights then you probably won't have to move rooms. If the reservations are for two different type rooms then they may be able to let you stay in the same room, or you may need to move for the second night. It depends on how the hotel chooses to do it.
