I just phoned Swiss to get seat assignments for a J class flight on a A343. Agent said that she couldn't assign seats 4A, 6A, 10A, 12A because they were 'preferred seats' I then asked for 4K. She told me 4K, 6K, 8K and 10K were 'special seats' for people needing assistance? I then settled for 12K which was the only single seat left on the aircraft other than 5K! Should i keep calling back and trying again?
