Sounds smart--JFK-DUB is often oversold in Y but undersold in J, and op-ups are common (or at least used to be when I flew it.) So why not try to upsell? That said, $299 feels way too low...I bet people would pay $500 easy. Unless it's on one of the old 763s, in which case, maybe they should pay me $299 to fly in J .
