I suppose it depends. For a trip with a 1x daily long-haul flight then, yes, "that one time" would suck. For a route with shuttle-esque frequencies then being an hour or two late probably wouldn't bother me much at all.
True. I care a
lot if it's a long-enough haul that I have a special meal request for. For a shuttle flight, not so much unless the timing's critical for other reasons (e.g., I have to be somewhere on the other end). I don't cut my flights too close, though, so that's rarely the case.
