Huh. I guess I'm lucky. Hubby and I both agree that we travel prepared, which is that we plan for the worst by inserting extra time (usually about 30 minutes padding on top of how long it would normally take), and we bring something to occupy ourselves with at the airport. He packs the last 30 minutes before bed the night before, while I have lists and like to start a day or two before, but as long as it gets done, I don't care how he does it and he doesn't care how I do it. We also have similar philosophies on money, on home decor, on large purchases, on politics, on education, on raising our (future) kids...
Wow, I got lucky.
Besides, we like each other's company. Sitting around in the airport means more time to chat or people-watch or just talk about random things we see on our RSS feeds.
