Different countries have different rules on all kinds of things.

And who's to say the FAA are right and not the CAA. Perhaps the reverse is true. I don't necessarily disagree with the concept of challenging rules and policies but this should be done with the CAA.

What I find hard to understand is when people refuse to obey rules when asked politely (and I'm not talking about the OP specifically, just in general).
