We had a long thread about this three weeks ago or so, heated debate on both sides.

On each and every BA flight now I see half the people around me or more switch on after landing and sometimes cc as well. I think it's just a matter of time before rule will be adjusted but many people here have strong views and varying facts. Have a look at older thread.
