I can now confirm that the policy on lounge access has been clarified and now definetly covers the broader definition of "spouse" to include common-law, same sex partner etc. Should you for any reason encounter difficulty here please let me know immediately. At this time, however, the benefit will not be extended beyond that to include other related family members because of the substantial volumes and costs for Air Canada. We will of course continue with the broader definitions with respect to Aeroplan reward tickets.
