Just book a LAN South American Airpass today. The first flight is Jan 23 from BA to Bariloche. Now I see that the airport is going to be closed.
Need suggestions as to how to proceed.
Called LAN and was told that they have a plan, If the airport is closed they will fly to another city near and bus us 7 hours.
This stinks.
That's tough but look on it from a positive angle. Nearest city I imagine will be Neuquen. It's a very interesting road journey and certainly worth seeing. So make sure you get to do it during daylight hours.
