As a former AUS resident and current ORD resident, I don't think the four daily flights is a drastic change. I recall their being five flights until perhaps a year or two back, but AUS traffic has always been driven more toward the 14-16 daily DFW flights.

The replacement of mainline with CR7 though is a more recent occurrence for this route though.
