DAY WHATEVER:
Got the US email referral for the US peeps in charge and received a call from their Exec office, who had the courage to call Hotels Anywhere. The woman who called me said I had tried to book 41 times...41 times...and that Hotels Anywhere was having some issues.
I relayed my opinion that HA was covering up a much larger problem, probably an ongoing criminal enterprise (and I am not kidding) covering up their desire NOT to complete bookings, for whatever reason....guessing unhappiness with their IHG contract specs, whatever, and she is going to try to work around HA and book me direct with the hotel and take the miles.
I'm sorry I have angered some of you, and some don't care, but this is a problem that some of you may face in the future, and at least you have a partial road map....going nowhere.
I am confident the new face will solve my problem later next week so I will not be posting until resolution.

And I have looked in the mirror and see a customer who won't be pushed around by corporate flunkies.
