Odds are very high that you won't have to go back through security, although it is not impossible.
Given that the area only serves three gates, the security line shouldn't be terribly long.
Only thing is that the OP is arriving on a JetBlue flight and departing on Cape Air, so they may arrive into one of those three gates then have to go to the main part of Terminal C. As you said though, it is only three gates so chances of arriving there are low.
