I need to buy two international award tickets using miles from both my wife's and my account. So each account will be used for one ticket. Just to confirm availability, I would put first ticket on hold, buy the second, and then go back and buy the first.

Is the only way to put a ticket on hold is to select Cash/Western Union as the payment method? I guess after putting the ticket on hold and going back to buy it, I can use my credit card (not Western Union) to complete the purchase, right?
