Using AA Elite Card (for elite security queues) When Flying Other Carriers

Maybe I was using the wrong search string, but i could not find anything related to this.

I occasionally have to travel on WN or B6 (where I have no status). I always use the priority security lines at every airport that has them, even when traveling in cattle class on WN or B6. My excuse is that I have an EXP card and if I am ever questioned, I can legitimately say that I am a priority customer...just not on this flight.

No security agent has ever questioned me or even given me a second glance, so I have no idea if my reasoning is sound or not. Just curious what other people's thoughts are on this practice.

**Point of clarification: I only do this at airports that are also served by AA. Somehow this helps me legitimize it in my mind**
