Where I screwed up initially was that I had just crossed the border from Germany, and was still on the autobahn mindset. My mind wandered until the flash, before I realized that once again speed limits were a factor. No doubt placement of the cameras often hopes to capitalize on that.

My advice: pay your tickets just as soon as you get them. You might get away with it but why risk it?
