I followed this very sad story, in detail, over on the AF forum thread.

It must be tough for the BEA (and other authorities) to get at the truth and the facts when partial bits of evidence are put out. It tends to deflect resource and mind somewhat.
I am so glad the 'craft was finally found and some extra evidence able to be extracted. Its such a shame one has to wait three years for the final report (and that any further major recommendations won't get out sooner).

As always, the important thing is to reduce the possibilities of the cause of 447 from repeating.
