This is a matter of definition. Note that these "1-2-1" seats have the footholes of seats stuck under the table - next to these seats.
If the seats with feet next to your seat are counted into the same row, and the seats directly behind you is where the next row begins, you do indeed get to call it 2-4-2. Similar staggered layout is used by Emirates A380 and Etihad Airbuses. What it certainly is not is 2-2-2.
