I wish crew would treat it less like an entitlement and more like a concession given only to ensure on time departures. In other words, if crew don't need to jump the line to get to a flight they're working, they shouldn't. In the worst cases, I've seen crew that were clearly off duty (e.g. in street clothes with family in tow) using their badges to jump lines, which is just a ridiculous abuse of the system.

Also, in some situations, I sort of think crew should try to show up with enough time to not need to jump the line. If crew work a late flight one day followed by an early one the next day, I understand the need to get as much sleep as possible and any resulting line jumping is fine. But, if they're coming off plenty of rest, I think crew should show up to the airport in advance and wait in line just like passengers.
