I feel the same way. But there is also the fine balance of making sure you can get good positioning on the plane both for comfort and more so to make sure you're all set for disembarking. Especially when connections are involved. That's my real motivation, otherwise, even as big as it is, after 14 hours that plane will still feel pretty small, even with the 2 bars...
