I recently booked an all-business class ticket with Aeroplan (YYZ-HNL) that contains a UA segment. HNL-ORD. (supposedly a 777)
All of my other segments are in AC J.
When I view my flight on UA's website it shows the HNL-ORD segment as Business(XC) however I cannot select a seat as the seat map is unavailable.
My question is if this flight is a 2-class 777 config, will I be put into First class? Seat guru says this flight is a 2-class config.
If that was the case Aeroplan should not have confirmed a Business class reward and forced me into a First class award.
Called customer service and they could not select seating for that flight yet.
I just want to confirm I won't be in coach for that segment so I can make changes with Aeroplan if needed.
