Really? Really??????????

I buy a ticket and my seat reclines. So, if I want to recline my seat, I will. No, I don't ask permission.

I find sitting bolt upright very uncomfortable--I'm short--and a slightly reclined seat means that my calves dont' go to sleep from pressure on the back of my knees.

I always recline my seat slowly, as I've been the victim of a rapid, jerking recline that left me with a lap full of diet soda.

I only put the seat back after reaching cruising altitude and I return it to the full & upright position when the announcement is made.
