A week or so ago Jeststar sent out e-mails to forward booked pax MEL-HTI announcing their flight changes and re-routings i.e. you now get a 3 hour scenic stopover in Sydney. Oh no, they'd never say they cancelled your flights (truth). They've "amended the flight times".

Yesterday similar e-mails sent out for pax BNE-HTI.

I thought it was bad enough when QF dropped HTI years ago and passed it on to Jetstar. Now it seems Jetstar can only rationalise one flight from Sydney?

Time to investigate private charter jets. Seriously.

From the vantage point of a long-term expatriate Australian, I'm just bewildered by things like this. Guess I must be way out of the loop
