I'm trying to find ways to burn SWU's (UA and CO), and since I've never been to Africa, this would be a starting point. I have a choice of flying into Accra (from IAD on UA) or Lagos (from IAH on CO), would probably only spend a night or two, then head to South Africa.

Which is easier, safer, or more interesting to do?
