Fortunately the old rewards booking system is still there and it is possible to carry on as if the changes never happened.
Unfortunately it still incorrectly shows AA availability and cannot show AS at all.
I was looking at a LAX-SFO in January - on AA website, there were 7 or 8 flights, 2 of them were AS flights, all the way till 11pm arrival - guess how many BA website showed? One lonely AA flight at 7:30am in the morning.
It is really sad - after all the work going in to devalue the charts from fixed levels to "calculator", BA still cannot show AA's availability correctly.
From what I gather, BA agents still need to perform manual calculation when the "calculator" does not show the award.
