Sorry, I didn't completely avoid YQ, but minimized them
Haven't saw the exact breakdown yet, but I only paid for TG ICN-TPE (3 hr flight), NH TPE-NRT (4 hour flight), and AC ORD-YYZ segment, and not for any other flights
I could've gone for < $200 in fees if I go more United via US..but nah, want to try other airlines at reasonable price
