"What if I upgrade to a higher class of service (that includes meal service)?A. If you upgrade close to departure, unfortunately we will not have time to cancel the order. However, we will locate you and serve the meal to your new seat. If you upgrade more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, you can cancel your order for a full refund."


So if your upgrade chance appears tiny, then you have more incentive to order...if you think you have a decent chance of being upgraded you may want to hold off...
