I saw the commercial right as my mother was contemplating applying for the card. With the sound off, I thought it was funny. Not sure if the sound makes it not funny. The commercial convinced her (a GM) to apply. My friend (another GM) also applied. Me, not so much. Coincidentally, the banner ad in this thread right now for me is, low and behold for the Explorer card. It's everywhere!
