I would like to make some adjustments to travel times for Beijing based on current realities:
--Bus (Airport Shuttle): 45 to 90 minutes depending on final location and time of day whether inbound to city or outbound to airport. (RMB 16)
--Airport Express: Due to loop layout of route: Inbound to city 15 minutes from Terminal 2 to Sanyuanqiao/Subway Line 10 interchange, 20 minutes from T2 to Dongzhimen Transport Hub Terminus. Add 10 minutes to each of those times if starting from T3. Outbound to airport: 15 min from SYQ to Terminal 3, 20 from Dongzhimen to T3, add 10 minutes to those times if heading for Terminal 2 (RMB 25). Note that Terminal 1 is not served directly by Airport Express, you must walk to Terminal 2 and use that stop: add 10-15 minutes.

--Taxi: 30 to 90 minutes depending on final location and time of day. Areas in the northeast 3rd/4th Ring Roads in non-rush hours on the 30 minute end. To Fuxingmen/Financial District during inbound rush hour, closer to 90. Wangfujing area somewhere in the middle. (RMB 70-150. Off-meter expressway toll charge RMB 10. Off-meter fuel surcharge RMB 2. )
