Do a bunch of quick MSP-DTW RTs using a routing with two connections, in NRT and CDG. You will get to DM faster if you fly this in BE or at least using a M fare.

However, if you want DM for the start of 2012, there could be problem as I suspect that the CDG-MSP nonstop could be seasonal. AF serves NRT-CDG nonstop but I am not aware of a NRT-AMS nonstop, nor NRT-LHR on SkyTeam.
